Marton Church Snowman

This is the second painting that I have made of Marton Church in Cheshire, from a photograph taken on the same day. It's a late afternoon scene around Christmas-time, with the golden light giving a completely different feel to the building. I really enjoyed painting this beautiful historic church again! I decided to add a snowman as it's primarily a Christmas card design, I'm pleased with how the shadows worked and the glow of the light on the wooden panelling.

It is painted with acrylic paint on a canvas panel, and measures 14" x 10" (35.5cm x 25.4cm). It is not framed.
