Late Winter Sunrise

Painted in 2008, this atmospheric snowman portrait combines two photographs taken by my wife - one of the snowman that our youngest made several years before, and one of the snow-covered bank part way along our road in early light. One of the benefits of dog ownership is that need to be out earlier in the day than you might otherwise be in cold weather! This painting was shortlisted to be printed by the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists.

It is painted with acrylic on a Daler canvas panel 14" x 18"  (356mm x 457mm), and is not framed.
