Holly's First Snowman 2

Our eldest made the snowman, with a bit of help, when she was two years old, and this was the second painting that I made using a photograph of it. The background is completely different to the first one - I wanted to place him in a country environment, with a focus on making it a little more traditionally British as a design, with a country church and the rolling hills behind. These snow paintings are always aiming to provide potential card designs for the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists, which is why you'll often see recurring wintery themes. 

This was painted back in 1999, in acrylic paint on a 10" x 14" canvas panel (254mm x 356mm), and is unframed.
