Folly

An acrylic sketch from July 2000, this has been hiding in a folder for several years and has just been rediscovered. This is, unusually for me, an experimental study which I think may have been part of a workshop session at an MFPA retreat that summer. We have tutors come in and encourage us to try different media and styles of painting - although this actually is quite similar to how I was working back in the early 1990's at art college! 

It measures approx 15" x 11" and is on thick watercolour paper. It is not framed.
