A Case of Mistaken Identity?

This painting of a heron amongst the penguins is painted with acrylic on canvas. It is varnished but unframed. Size: 14" x 10" / 35.6cm x 254mm

This painting was adapted from a photograph that my wife took at Chester zoo when we spotted a heron paying the penguins a visit - I added snow to give it a Christmassy feel! It was painted in January 1997.
